Craft* = Whatever “craft” means to you.

Work on your own creative project while socializing with other makers! Chat while your hands are busy and get inspired by what everyone else is working on. Bring your own project, tools, and materials. Drop in when you can, stay for as little or as long as you like.

What kind of project should you bring?

• Bring something you’re actively working on. Last month, we had weaving, knitting, crocheting, stitching, sorting, assembling, painting, tiling, cosplay, and more! You can also just come to hang out and chat.

• Show and tell of completed projects are welcome. 🤗

• This event takes place in the Maker Nexus Event Room, which is an indoor, carpeted conference room. Tasks that require masks, respirators, or heavy ventilation are not appropriate (e.g. sanding, aerosols, certain types of paints and glues, etc). We know those are part of the creative process, but they just don’t work in the space. Help keep our community safe!

• If your project might be considered messy (e.g. paint/glue), you’ll need to cover the table tops to protect them. Everyone is responsible for cleaning up their own space.

Note for non-members: Non-members are welcome! Just sign in at the front desk when you arrive. You won't have access to the tools and materials at the makerspace (bring everything you need for your project) but you're welcome to take a tour of the makerspace and see what we're all about.
